In order to manage the sewage generated at the NACIN, Bengaluru complex which has a built up area of around 1.35 lakh sq ft with the professional guidance of TERI (The Energy & Resources Institute of India), rejuWATER® soil biofiltration STP has been installed and is being utilized.
In order to manage the bio-degradable garbage including the kitchen waste that is generated at the campus, TALLBOY® organic waste converter has been installed and is being used to convert the biodegradable garbage and kitchen waste into compost which is being used as manure for plants in the campus. This is one of the best environment friendly methods which has been adopted in the endeavour to make NACIN facility a "Zero Garbage Zone".

The Hon'ble National Green Tribunal-SLC, upon hearing the misuse of terminolgy of organic waste converter by the manufacturers, has directed the KSPCB on 15.02.2019 to constitute a Committee for "Evaluation of In-Situ Technologies for Processing of Wet Waste"...

What took centuries to build the ground water reserve, has gone in less than 2 decades due to over drawing by borewells. Madurai like many other cities has gone dry.
This Madurai School chose wastewater recycling. They were spending lot of money on frequent septic tanks emptying, they converted this expense to revenue!Their existing septic tanks were retrofitted with rejuWATER STP modules and the recycled water was connected to their flushing lines. 20,000 liters per day of wastewater recycled every day reduced their freshwater consumption by ~70%.
